Charity Photo Session

You would be amazed at all of the organizations out there who are in support of cancer patients, but in reality it was very difficult for me to get anything for my mom, a melanoma patient, other than three free house cleaning appointments and free makeup. There was a handy man that came to her house to fix a few things. She could barely get a visiting nurse to show up in the morning and help her with breakfast and medicine.

Losing a mom when you are just becoming a mom is beyond difficult ... lots of overwhelming feelings all at once. There is not one day that goes by that I don't think of my mom. I learned quite a bit about the cycle of life during that time since she passed when my daughter was almost four months old, and my heart is (forever) wide open to those battling cancer.

Each year around the holidays and Mother’s Day, Julbaby Photography offers complimentary sessions for those battling cancer in honor of my mother, Christine Robbins.

Proud to post pictures of this little warrior. Her strength and courage at such a young age are nothing less than remarkable...Prayers for this special little girl and her amazing family. A special thanks to Old Westbury GardensTrendy Tutus By Lauren and our friend Marianna for your generosity!

Please visit Julbaby's Facebook page and click LIKE to "vote" so this photo may have a chance to win the Old Westbury Gardens fall photo contest! #OWGfallphotos. Prize is a free membership to OWG that I would like to give to this family. Look for #OWGfallphotos.

Thank you!
